Strip Club

We've had lots of questions as to
what the strip club is...well, here's what we do...
|
|
The quilts are
generally made from 2 1/2" strips that you sew together and then re-cut
and they then make your blocks. Most of the quilts go together
quickly and are very easy to make. Most could be done by beginners
with no problems. The kits are precut so all you have to do is
read the directions and start sewing! If the recut needs a special
ruler, we make a template and send it with the kit.

Colorful Highway - Batiks

Here at Happy Crafters we have
carried the concept just a little farther and are teaching our students
how to use this concept to make stars, triangles and more complicated
blocks. The idea is the same to make the quilt go as quickly and
smoothly as possible for the sewer.

All kits include enough
fabric to make a queen size quilt with borders (no backing or thread are
included with the kits). We have a new kit every 5 to 6 weeks and
they are usually priced at $65. However, if you sign up before the
deadline, the cost is only $55. Some kits are more expensive if
they are done with batiks or if they need something else special (such
as thangles). Also, large or smaller sizes are available on
request, and the prices vary with the size you order.

Makin' the Cut

We send out a picture of the future
kit along with how to sign up in a newsletter about 3 to 4 weeks before
the deadline in order to give you enough time to look at the quilt and
sign up.

We have several customers that live
out of state that love the strip club. They tell us that it's a
great way to make new quilts and learn new techniques (and most of the
cutting is done for them!)

quilts.
